A large-scale fire at the LUKoil oil refinery in Volgograd, Russia, broke out on the morning of January 15.
Local residents claim that an explosion was heard at the enterprise before the fire. However, the emergency services of the aggressor country claim that the cause of the fire was “internal problems at the enterprise, and not external influence.” Local Telegram channels write about this.
Thus, operational services indicate that unit No. 18 and two heat exchangers caught fire at the plant. The fire had allegedly already been extinguished, and no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Let us remind you that unknown drones attacked the Tambov region of the Russian Federation on the night of January 15. One of the UAVs hit a distillery in the village of Novaya Lyada, and as a result of the hit a fire broke out.
