The consequences of a strike by Ukrainian defense forces at an oil refinery in Saratov appeared online.
Ukrainian drones hit at least two tanks at the Saratov oil refinery. This is evidenced by satellite images from Planet Labs on January 14. The “Schemes” project reported this on Telegram.
As you know, the oil refinery in Saratov is located near the Engels-ts strategic aviation base. This airfield is home to Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bombers, which the Russian occupiers systematically use to bombard Ukraine.
Let us remind you that on the night of January 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a number of important targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. Objects were attacked at a distance of 200 to 1100 km in the interior of the aggressor country.
In particular, the Aleksinsky chemical plant in the Tula region, ammunition depots at the Engels airfield in the Saratov region, and the Saratov oil refinery were hit. The Bryansk chemical plant was also attacked.
