The assault by North Korean troops was repelled by Ukrainian special forces.
In the Kursk region, the Russians and the DPRK went on the attack, and the battle with the enemy continued until the night. The rangers of the 6th MTR Regiment resisted the invaders, killing 17 North Korean soldiers, and one of them blew himself up with a grenade. The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
In the morning, a MTR cleanup group moved into the battle area and came across one surviving DPRK fighter. He set an unsuccessful trap for the Ukrainians – he wanted to explode with them on a grenade. However, as the rangers approached, he blew himself up.
Let us remind you that the fighters of the UA_REG unit of the Separate Special Operations Center “West” named after Prince Izyaslav Mstislavich fought an eight-hour battle with the North Koreans. During the fire contact, not a single Ukrainian special forces soldier was injured.
