State border violators got lost in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
In Transcarpathia, three men wandered through the snowy Carpathians for seven days to cross the border illegally. During the journey, they lost their orientation in the mountains. The State Border Service of Ukraine announced this on January 13 in Telegram.
The perpetrators were found using a quadcopter. The men showed signs of severe hypothermia and were taken to hospital. One of them at the time of the examination had a temperature of 33.8.
Residents of the Kyiv and Donetsk regions turned out to be lost. They began their journey to the mountains on January 5, following their own route. Administrative protocols were drawn up against violators.
Once again we urge: do not risk your life! The highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians are dangerous in winter due to difficult weather conditions and snowy passes, the State Emergency Service noted.
Let us remind you that in the Odessa region, border guards stopped a car filled to capacity with men of military age. The driver and his passengers intend to flee to Moldova. Among the 11 violators were residents of Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Lugansk, Kharkov, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Odessa regions.
