The National Agency for Tracing and Management of Assets (ARMA) identified assets worth more than 3 billion hryvnias from those involved in criminal proceedings for misuse of budget funds during construction work. The press service of the agency reported this on Monday, January 13.
It is indicated that we are talking about funds in bank accounts in different currencies in the amount of more than 2.8 billion Hryvnia, securities worth more than 50 million Hryvnia, contributions to the authorized capital of companies in the amount of almost 5 million Hryvnia.
More than 100 vehicles, more than 280 pieces of construction and special equipment, and several residential and non-residential real estate items were also discovered.
According to the deputy head of the agency, Pavel Velikorechanin, the amount of identified assets indicates the scale of the criminal scheme to steal budget funds.
“All information about the identified assets has been transferred to the relevant law enforcement agency for further seizure and transfer of the assets to the management of ARMA,” the statement said.
We would like to remind you that in 2024, assets worth UAH 11.5 billion were transferred to the management of ARMA. These assets are already working in support of the Ukrainian economy and Defense Forces. And the income from their management reaches more than 1 billion hryvnia.
