On the night of today, January 12 (from 18.00 on January 11), Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with a total of 94 Shahed-type attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types.
The launches were carried out in the Russian directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk and Kursk. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the report says.
As of 09.00:
- the downing of 60 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and drones of other types was confirmed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Chernigov, Kyiv, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky and Donetsk regions;
- due to the fall of downed enemy drones, several houses were damaged in the Kharkov, Sumy and Poltava regions (there were no casualties or injuries);
- 34 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
