Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk thanked the Ministers of Culture of Poland and Ukraine for their good cooperation.
In Poland, a decision was made on the first exhumation of the Polish victims of the Volyn tragedy. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced this on January 10.
“Finally, a breakthrough was made in the first excavations of Polish victims of the UPA. I would like to thank the ministers of culture of Poland and Ukraine for their excellent cooperation with the social network.
Let’s recall that Ukraine and Poland previously discussed specific measures to solve the problem of exhuming those killed in the Volyn tragedy.
It was also reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine criticized the statement of Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki that Ukraine should not be in either the EU or NATO until it resolves the problem between it and Poland concerning the tragedy in Volyn. The Foreign Ministry called these words a manipulative statement that would please the Kremlin.
