On the night of today, January 10 (from 20.30 on January 9), Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with a total of 72 Shahed-type attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types.
The launches were carried out in the Russian directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the report says.
As of 09.00:
- the beating of 33 “martyrs” and other types of drones was confirmed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Chernigov, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa and Kherson regions;
- five UAV hits were recorded (enterprises and commercial buildings) in the front-line area in the north of Chernihiv region, a civilian was wounded;
- In the Kiev region, a damaged UAV fell on a high-rise building, damaging the building and two dozen cars. Initially there were no casualties;
- 34 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences), one of them flew in the direction of the Russian Federation.
