The representative of the Kremlin said: “Of course, this is the sovereign right of Armenia. We know that membership in the EAEU is beneficial.”
Peskov clarified that the European Union initiated the process of Armenia’s entry into this organization, adding: “We still need to understand what the position of the European Union is on this issue. which has been focusing on EU membership for decades, but not meeting many rewards from the Brussels side.”
According to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, “we must proceed from real working mechanisms, integration formats that have already proven themselves and continue to work for the benefit of the people and the countries participating in them .”
Regarding the advantages and benefits that Yerevan receives from membership in the EAEU, the representative of the Kremlin emphasized: “Calling a spade a spade, it gives enormous dividends for Armenia as a state and people of this country.”
“It is actually measured in percentages, the growing speed of economic development in relation to membership in the EAEU, etc.,” said Peskov.
