The people’s deputy was informed of suspicion of deliberately declaring false information.
In the declaration for 2023, the parliamentarian did not indicate the residential building where he lives and land plots in the Odessa region worth more than UAH 17 million. Law enforcement officers do not name the suspect, but from the details of the case it follows that we are talking about Irina Kormyshkina (maiden name – Allahverdieva) from the Servant of the People party. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office reported this on January 9.
Law enforcement officers qualified these actions under Art. 366-2 (declaration of false information) and Art. 368-5 (illegal enrichment) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She faces up to 10 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
The pre-trial investigation continues, and other persons involved in these crimes are being identified.
Let us remind you that on October 17, people’s deputy from the Servant of the People Irina Kormyshkina was informed of suspicion of illegal enrichment. Investigators found that in 2021-2022, the parliamentarian purchased more than 20 million UAH and subsequently purchased a house with it in the Odessa region, where she now lives. However, her official income for this period and savings did not exceed UAH 2.7 million.
Subsequently, HACS released Kormyshkina on bail to the chairman of the parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” Dmitry Arakhamia and the head of the Nikolaev OV Vitaly Kim.
