A missile attack on the city of Krivoy Rog in the Dnepropetrovsk region was repelled by the Ukrainian military.
At 14:10 on Thursday, January 9, the Russian occupiers attacked Krivoy Rog with three Iskander-K ground-launched cruise missiles.
As you know, Iskander-K is a Russian cruise missile weighing 2 thousand 300 kg and has a warhead of 450 kg. Its length is 6.2 m and its diameter is 0.5 m. The rocket can maneuver along a given trajectory and reaches speeds of up to 900 km/h.
The Iskander-K can hit targets at a distance of 500 km, but the Russians have a modification to launch cruise missiles at a distance of up to 2 thousand 500 km.
Let us recall that on the night of January 9, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 70 Shahed-type attack drones and simulator drones of various types. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 46 attack UAVs, and 24 enemy simulator drones were lost.
