Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, signed Law No. 4061-IX “On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on the formation and maintenance of a list of terrorist organizations (groups).”

This was reported today, January 7, on the law page on the Verkhovna Rada website.
This law:
- establishes the responsibilities of the SBU to create and maintain a list of terrorist organizations (groups) in accordance with the law “On the fight against terrorism.” The procedure will be carried out by the Anti-Terrorism Center under the SBU within 3 or 15 working days based on conclusions agreed with the concerned government agencies and intelligence;
- determines the mechanisms for inclusion in and exclusion from the list.
It is provided that:
- the list will not include political parties registered in Ukraine in accordance with current legislation;
- the list of terrorist organizations will be public. It will be published on the official website of the SBU and the Unified State Open Data Web Portal.
