The Russian Ministry of Defense recognized the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region of Russia.
According to the enemy, the Ukrainian military “carried out a counterattack by an assault group consisting of two tanks, a barrage vehicle and 12 armored combat vehicles with troops in the direction of the Berdin farm.”
The Russians have traditionally rushed to report the “loss of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” The enemy announced the alleged destruction of 340 military personnel, four tanks, and 12 armored combat vehicles.
The Moscow Times public page, citing the so-called military correspondent Roman Alekhin, writes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began advancing in a northeast direction from Sudzha, targeting the Velikiy Soldatskoye area. When advancing, the Ukrainian army uses mine clearing trawls, tanks and other armored vehicles.
The occupiers also complain that the Defense Forces covered the attack area with dense electronic warfare, so the Russians cannot use most drones. Only fiber optic UAVs can fly.
At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that 42 military clashes have currently occurred in the Kursk region of Russia, and 12 of which are still ongoing.
Let us remind you that on January 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces unexpectedly attacked Russians in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council stated that the enemy was attacked in several directions and this came as a surprise to him.
Also, messages about the advancement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk direction appeared in Russian Telegram channels.
