The air force revealed the details of the Russian night attack

The Russian Army launched 103 UAVs across Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 61 targets, another 42 were lost locally.

On the night of January 5, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 103 Shahed-type attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types. Of these, 61 were shot down, another 42 were lost by location, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

At 9:00, the downing of 61 suicide bombers and other types of drones was confirmed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkassy, ​​​​Dnepropetrovsk, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytsky regions. No hits were recorded.

Another 42 enemy simulator drones disappeared from the location (without negative consequences).

We remind you that on the night of January 4, the air defense destroyed 34 out of 81 drones. Another 47 UAVs were lost.
