The front line is located just 2 km from the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkov region.
The head of the Kupyansk city military administration, Andrey Besedin, stated this on air at a national telethon, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.
The shelling does not stop from all types of weapons that the enemy has: mortars, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems of various modifications, guided bombs and FPV drones, which the enemy uses in large numbers, hitting logistics routes, central supply routes, not allowing, in particular, to deliver humanitarian aid and free movement of civilians, he noted.
According to him, the situation on the left bank of the Kupyansky community has been critical for more than three months – more than 900 people, mainly elderly people, who categorically refuse to evacuate, remain there in difficult conditions:
The remaining number of people is actually stable. A small number of people are leaving, especially from the left bank of the Kupyanskaya community, where the situation is critical. It has been critical for more than three months; there is no electricity, no gas, no water supply, no social services, shops, pharmacies, hospitals.
