    Russian invaders on the night of today, January 5 (from 19.00 on January 4) attacked Ukraine with 103 Shahed attack drones and simulator drones of various types.

    The launches were carried out in the Russian directions of Bryansk, Millerovo and Orel. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

    The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the report says.

    It is noted that as of 9:00:

    • it was confirmed that 61 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and other types of drones were killed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkassy, ​​Dnepropetrovsk, Zhitomir and Khmelnytsky regions. No hits recorded;
    • 42 enemy simulator drones – locationally lost (without negative consequences);
    • In the Kharkov region, several private houses were damaged due to the fall of a hit UAV. Help is being provided to the victims.
