In Kyiv, as a result of a Russian air attack today, January 1, two districts were destroyed – Pechersky and Svyatoshinsky.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
In Pechersky district:
- There was a partial destruction of the fourth-sixth floors of a residential building and a fire on the fourth-fifth floors on an area of 70 square meters. m. One woman was saved. The fire has been localized and extinguishing work is underway;
- There was also a fire on the roof of a nearby non-residential building. The fire is currently being contained.
In the Svyatoshinsky district, garages were destroyed and a fire occurred over an area of 20 square meters. m. Ten rescuers and two units of fire and rescue equipment are working on site.
Information about the victims is being clarified, the department added.
