Registration of passports in Ukraine will increase in price from January 1.
The printing plant “Ukraine” is changing the cost of forms of individual biometric documents and that is why the total cost of processing some documents will increase. The increase in price concerns the registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, as well as permits for temporary and permanent residence in Ukraine. The State Migration Service of Ukraine reported this on December 31.
The cost of biometric documents in 2025 will be:
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) for the first time – free;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) up to 20 working days – 558 UAH;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID card) up to 10 working days – 928 UAH;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad for up to 20 working days – 1 thousand 42 UAH;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad up to 7 working days – 1 thousand 682 UAH;
- permanent residence permit in Ukraine – 1 thousand 175 UAH;
- temporary residence permit in Ukraine – 1 thousand 80 UAH.
Those persons who paid for administrative services before December 31, 2024, but have not yet submitted an application for paperwork, will be able to make additional payments at the rates that will be in effect at the time of submitting the relevant applications, the Migration Service added.
Let us remind you that wholesale prices for manufacturers of industrial products in November 2024 compared to November last year increased by 24.1%. Prices for the production of dairy products increased the most – by 25.1%, including within Ukraine – by 23.6%. Prices for meat production increased by 12.5%, including within Ukraine – by 12.6%.
