The law allows a deferment from mobilization for civilians whose relatives have died or disappeared in the war, as well as those freed from captivity in Russia.
On December 31, President Vladimir Zelensky signed bill No. 12104 on deferment and demobilization for relatives of those killed or missing in action in war. It is stated on the bill card.
According to the documents, the right to postpone captivity is given to civilians, as well as the right to release those who died or lost half of their relatives during participation in the conflict.
Let us remind you that the Rada of Ukraine voted for the bill on November 20, the document was supported by 304 deputies. On the same day, the Rada supported the immediate signing of the law.
Let’s add that President Vladimir Zelensky considered the amount of mobilization in Ukraine insufficient. At the same time, he considers it wrong to give an exact figure about how many people need to be mobilized.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers updated the criteria for reservation from mobilization and the criteria for enterprises receiving criticality.
