Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, signed Law 4170-IX on the liquidation of MSEC.
The press service of the Verkhovna Rada reported this today, December 30.
The law signed by Zelensky provides that from January 1, 2025, instead of MSEC, expert commissions will work in cluster and supercluster hospitals, which will conduct assessments in accordance with the criteria of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.
To make corruption impossible, the commissions will selectively receive the patient for consideration, but neither he nor the commission will know which doctor will consider the matter, the message says. — The previously established statuses of persons with disabilities, as well as medical and social examination for children, will remain unchanged.
