Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent successful surgery to remove his prostate.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, December 29, successfully underwent surgery to remove his prostate. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

“The operation was successful, without complications the Prime Minister woke up, is in good condition and fully conscious,” Netanyahu’s office said.

The prime minister has been transferred to an underground fortified rehabilitation unit, where he is expected to spend several days under observation.

Let’s recall that on December 25, the 75-year-old Netanyahu was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection caused by a benign prostate enlargement during an examination.
