Earlier, Ilham Aliyev asked for an apology and admission of guilt from Russia for the plane crash of an Azerbaijan Arilines passenger plane.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Azerbaijani president again after Ilham Aliyev said the plane that crashed in Kazakhstan was shot down near Grozny. This was reported by the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.
During the conversation, the parties continued to discuss the downing of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane.
“On December 29, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during a telephone conversation, the heads of state continued to discuss issues related to passenger plane crash of Azerbaijan Airlines Closed Stock Company,” the message said.
Let’s remember that, according to Aliyev, Russia wants to “silence” the issue of the causes of the accident of the Azerbaijani plane in Kazakh Aktau.
As you know, on December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed in Kazakhstan on a Baku-Grozny flight. 38 people were killed, mostly citizens of Azerbaijan. Later, the media reported that the plane was attacked on approach to Grozny by a missile from the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft complex. After that, the Russians banned the crew from landing at Russian airports.
