The head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, believes that within 2025 it will be possible to restore the building of the NDSB Okhmatdyt, which was damaged as a result of the Russian missile attack. Ukrinform reported this on Sunday, December 29.
“I think that we will completely restore the new building within 2025 and the construction of another modern building will begin on the territory of Okhmatdyt,” said Lyashko.
The minister noted that at the moment, the medical institution is fully ready for work in the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025.
“The emergency work has been done, the hospital is working, medical care is being given. This is the main thing about what needs to be done. A technical report has been completed, the emergency work has been completed, etc. Next… the design for the restoration of the new building will be completely done with an estimate where a tender will be held at the Prozorro site for complete restoration work, not emergency, but renewable,” he explained.
Currently, the Ministry of Health is attracting the best design organizations that exist in Ukraine to make a full technical report.
Lyashko added that there are funds for its restoration, and the funds collected in the account of Okhmatdyt, the fund, “are allegedly frozen and waiting for the moment when we choose a company that will do all this.”
