The United States will soon prepare another military aid package for Ukraine.
In the coming days, the White House will announce the supply of “large quantities of weapons to Ukraine.” The cost and what kind of weapons will be transferred to the Ukrainian Defense Forces are still unknown. White House Communications Adviser John Kirby announced the new assistance and was quoted by Fox News journalist Lucas Tomlinson on the social network X.
Kirby also spoke about the losses of North Korean troops in battles against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Pentagon has calculated that over the past week, North Korea has lost more than 1 thousand soldiers in the Kursk region.
It is clear that Russian and North Korean military leaders view these troops as expendable and are ordering them to launch hopeless attacks on Ukrainian defenses, the White House spokesman said.
Let us remind you that on December 8, the United States of America announced the 22nd package of military assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale war. The new assistance will amount to $988 million and will include HIMARS ammunition, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), equipment, components and spare parts for the maintenance and repair of military equipment.
And newly elected US President Donald Trump said that Ukraine, upon his return to office, “probably” will not receive the same amount of assistance as from the Joe Biden administration.
