The Russian military in the Dnieper direction continues assault operations and shelling.
In particular, on December 26, the invaders tried to land on Kozatsky Island near Kherson. However, the Ukrainian military did not allow the enemies to do this. The invaders suffered losses in boats, watercraft and personnel. The press secretary of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Vladislav Voloshin, stated this during the telethon.
It is noted that the islands at the mouth of the Dnieper, through which the dividing zone of the Kherson region and the right bank and left bank actually pass, are located in the so-called “gray zone” of military operations. The Russian army is trying to take control of them, as this will help gain a foothold on the right bank of Kherson.
From the left bank of the Kherson region, infidels regularly attack Ukrainian regions with a variety of weapons: attack drones, missiles, KABs, MLRS.
Let us remind you that the other day the Southern Defense Forces stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hold almost the entire island part of the Dnieper in the Kherson region under fire control, but the Russians make five to seven attempts to land in this area every day. Enemy operations are similar to reconnaissance and search operations, since we are talking about two or three boats carrying five to seven people.
