In Transcarpathia, the police blocked the production and sale of wholesale quantities of the drug Alfa-PVP – “products” worth more than 4 million UAH were seized. The press service of the Transcarpathian region police reported this on Friday, December 27.
On suspicion of organizing drug trafficking, the Transcarpathian police detained two residents of Mukachevo aged 24 and 28 years old. These individuals were engaged in the production of a particularly dangerous synthetic drug Alpha-PVP and established an interregional distribution network for it.
For this purpose, they specially rented a house in one of the villages of Mukachevo region. There, in the attic, they built a drug laboratory, where the two of them produced about 10 kg of “product” per month.

As a result of the searches, the police recovered more than 10 thousand doses of synthetic drugs from illegal circulation. Among the physical evidence are 5.3 kg of Alpha-PVP in a crystalline state, 12 liters of Alpha-PVP in a liquid state, 35 liters of Alpha-PVP manufacturing residues, 15 liters of precursors and chemical reagents, as well as equipment.

Those detained face up to 12 years in prison.
Let’s remember that early law enforcement liquidated a drug cartel, whose members produced and sold psychotropic substances through messenger channels. The income of the attackers reached more than 350 million hryvnias per month.
