A wounded North Korean soldier, who was recently captured by the Ukrainian military, died today, December 27, as a result of deteriorating health.
This was stated by South Korean intelligence, citing intelligence from a “friendly country,” the Korean Yonhap agency reports.
“We have confirmed from a friendly country’s intelligence organization that the North Korean soldier captured alive on December 26 died recently as his wounds worsened,” the department said.
It is noted that this statement was made several hours after South Korean intelligence confirmed that Ukraine had captured a wounded North Korean soldier.
Let us remind you that earlier today the South Korean intelligence agency confirmed the capture of a wounded North Korean soldier by the Ukrainian military. This statement was made after a message appeared online that Ukrainian special operations forces had captured a North Korean military officer during an operation in the Kursk region, which was the first case of this kind.
