Trying to protect themselves from the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the occupiers of Crimea began to build protective structures at the Saki airport.
With Crimea temporarily occupied, the Russians are building defensive structures at the Saki airport to cover attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The partisan movement ATES reported this on Telegram on Friday, December 27.
“ATESH agents conducted a reconnaissance of a military air base near the settlement of Novofedorovka. The presence of special equipment and construction work was recorded, indicating that the invaders were trying to build protective structures for aircraft,” the report said.
The partisans recorded the exact number and type of aircraft located at the airport, and the air defense systems covering them. All collected information is transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since 2014, the 43rd separate naval attack aviation regiment of the Russian Federation has been stationed at the airfield on Su-24M and Su-30SM aircraft. In the past, the Ukrainian military has repeatedly launched successful strikes on this facility.
We remind you that the early partisans of ATES showed the fortresses of the invaders near Crimea. In addition, they reconnoitred a Russian radar base in Crimea.
