Yuriy Vitrenko has become the new permanent representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna.
This is stated in the decree of the President of Ukraine No. 881 of December 26, 2024.
Before this, the president abolished the decree appointing Emine Dzhaparova to this post.
Back in July, she resigned after a journalistic investigation: her husband, former co-owner of the nationalized PrivatBank Gennady Bogolyubov, left Ukraine using the lost passport of a 67-year-old man from Volyn.
Bogolyubov objected that Dzhaparova helped him.
The events that unfolded around me and my family are, unfortunately, manipulative and unfair. Therefore, my efforts are aimed at providing for myself and my children. I also decided not to remain in the MFA system and initiate my resignation. I sent a corresponding statement to Minister Kuleba,” Japarova wrote in July.
She noted that she did not break the law and did not use her official position to achieve private interests.
