A new original verdict was handed down in the Malinovsky District Court of Odessa.
The court found the former owner of an online store selling gel balloons guilty. At one time he received an order for 25 thousand. 600 UAH, but did not send the goods to her. The businessman spent the money at his own discretion. Subsequently, the defendant was mobilized and is now undergoing military service. This is stated in the court verdict dated December 20, published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
The military man was found guilty and sentenced to one year of probationary supervision. Themis also ordered her husband to read three books: “Boarding School” by Sergei Zhadan, “Rough Notebook” by Agota Kristof and “A Conversation of Five Travelers about True Happiness in Life” by Grigory Skovoroda.
Reading such literature, in my opinion, should distract a person from evil thoughts and focus on real life on the categories of good and evil. And indeed, sensitivity never stands a chance against kindness, a sense of honor will not be replaced by pride or vanity, and a sense of duty will not be achievable for eternal benefits and convenience,” the judge explained in the verdict.
As for the work of Grigory Skovoroda, it is noted that the book really defines the meaning of existence and the direction of thoughts that a person should have. Achieving universal happiness, according to the author, is possible only through hard work.”
Let us remind you that in 2021, the judge of the Malinovsky District Court of Odessa sentenced the accused of theft to one year probation and ordered them to read the books by Mark Twain “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”, the book “White Fang” by Jack London and the poem by Taras “Days Pass.” , the nights pass…”
