At least six of those jailed for the arson were charged with terrorism, and another 11 were charged with intentional damage to property.
It was noted that this is the largest wave of attacks under the influence of scammers. The previous major wave of attacks occurred between July 29 and August 3, 2023, with 37 arson attacks.
