Drones carried out a raid on the Baltimore military airfield in Voronezh, Russia.
On Wednesday, December 25, drones tried to strike an airfield over which several drones were allegedly shot down. Drone debris allegedly fell on a garage in Voronezh, causing it to burn down. And in the village of Novogremyacheye, a downed drone damaged the roof of a residential building. The airfield did not appear to be damaged. This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA.
And the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the air defense allegedly intercepted 59 UAVs. At the same time, 26 drones were allegedly destroyed over the Belgorod region, 23 over the Voronezh region, three over the Kursk, Bryansk and Tambov regions, and one over the Sea of Azov.
As you know, the Baltimore military airfield is located in Voronezh, approximately 175 km from Ukraine. The 47th Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 105th Mixed Aviation Division with Su-34 fighter-bombers, which the enemy uses for KAB attacks, is stationed at this airfield.
Let us recall that explosions were heard in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, and the authorities announced a UAV attack on the Millerov area, where the airfield of Russian front-line aviation supporting Russian troops in the east and south of Ukraine is located.
