Two crew members died in the Azerbaijani plane crash, three survived.
In Aktau, out of 38 bodies from the crash site of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane, seven were identified. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan on Thursday, December 26.
“Yesterday, as a result of rescue operations, 38 bodies of the dead were discovered and brought to the forensic center, among them six citizens of Kazakhstan and three crew members the bodies of seven people,” the statement said.
It was previously reported that two crew members died in the plane crash, three survived.
Currently, work continues at the scene of the incident to dismantle the aircraft structures.
Let’s recall that on December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aktau in Kazakhstan. There were 67 people on board, including five crew members. Of these, 42 are citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 of Russia, six of Kazakhstan and three of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrei Kovalenko, said that the Russians destroyed the plane with an anti-aircraft missile system, which caused it to crash in Kazakhstan.
