US President Joe Biden commented on Russia’s massive strike on Ukraine on Christmas Day.
The American leader condemned Russia’s aggression, which was aimed at destroying energy infrastructure and depriving Ukrainians of heat and electricity in the winter. The head of state considers such attacks unacceptable, because Ukrainians have the right to peace and security. Biden’s statement was published on the White House website.
One thing is clear: Ukrainians deserve to live in peace and security, and the United States, along with the international community, must continue to support Ukraine until Russian aggression is defeated,” he emphasized.
Biden said the United States had recently supplied Ukraine with hundreds of air defense missiles and added that more shipments were on the way. He also instructed the Pentagon to continue increasing arms supplies to Ukraine. The President emphasized that Washington will continue to actively support Kyiv in its defense against Moscow.
Let us recall that on the first day of Christmas, the Russian Federation used 184 missiles of various types of air, ground and sea-based, as well as Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of simulator drones, to attack Ukraine.
