The Russian Federation has carried out another massive attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Thermal power plants were attacked.

The head of the British government, Keir Starmer, condemned the Russian attacks on the energy sector of Ukraine on the morning of Wednesday, December 25, emphasizing that even the Christmas holiday is not a break for to Putin’s troops. The Independent wrote this on Wednesday, December 25.

He noted that Russia launched a massive missile attack on Christmas morning with the aim of crippling energy infrastructure across Ukraine.

“I pay tribute to the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the leadership of President Zelensky in the face of drone and missile attacks from Putin’s bloody and brutal war machine, which does not rest even on Christmas,” said Starmer.

The British Prime Minister added that it is necessary to strengthen aid to Ukraine so that during possible negotiations with the Russian aggressor, Kyiv can act from a position of strength.

“As we enter the New Year, it remains vitally important to redouble our determination to put Ukraine in the strongest possible position to deter Russia’s unlawful aggression against the Ukrainian people,” said the head of the British government.

As you know, on the morning of December 25, the Minister of Energy German Galushchenko announced that the Russians are launching a massive attack on the energy system. Ukrenergo has introduced measures to limit electricity consumption.

In addition, the Russian army attacked the thermal power plants of DTEK, as a result of which the equipment of the thermal power plant was seriously damaged.
