In Lgov in the Kursk region, a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces today, December 25, eliminated the deputy commander of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation, Salim Pochtovaya.
At the time of the strike, he was in a control center located in one of the high-rise buildings, reports the Militarny publication.
It is noted that information about the death of the post office has already appeared on social networks – his sister reported this on the page of the 810th brigade on the VKontakte network. Information also began to appear about other victims – these were probably the officers of the brigade, who were involved in managing the units and giving out orders.
In addition to the sister, the attack on the control center was also confirmed by Russian Telegram channels, noting that all local residents knew about its location.
Russian media and social networks claim that the building was hit by missiles, probably from Haymars. Lgov is located 28 km from the state border of Ukraine, therefore it is within the reach of both cannon and rocket artillery.
Earlier today, the Main Directorate of Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its Telegram channel that the Armed Forces of Ukraine that night struck the location of the command post of the Russian 810th brigade, which was located in an abandoned civilian building in Lgov. It is not specified what exactly the blow was struck by.
