The Ukrainian Defense Forces lost some positions in the Kurakhovsky direction.

36 battles were recorded in the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy carried out another 34 assaults in the Vremivsky direction and 31 in the Limansky direction. In the Kupyansk direction, the defenders repelled 23 assaults. In the Toretsk direction, the Russians carried out 16 attacks. Fighting also continued in the Kramatorsk, Kharkov, and Seversk directions.
There is also a Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region of Russia – there were 37 battles there.
Let us recall that on December 24, the DeepState analytical project reported that the Ukrainian military were able to leave Makarovka, where they were threatened with complete encirclement. And the Russian occupiers have already captured Makarovka and Sukhye Yali and Zelenovka. The enemy also advanced near Stary Terny, Novodarivka, Volkovoye, Novovasilovka, Novoelizavetovka, Novoolenovka, Ukrainka, Zarya, Storozhevoy and Kurakhovo.
