Moldova condemned the Russian attacks and stands in full solidarity with Ukraine, President Maia Sandu emphasized.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that a Russian missile violated Moldovan airspace on the night of December 25. She wrote about it on the X social network.
Sandu said that on Christmas Day, “the Kremlin chooses the path of destruction – it attacks Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and violates Moldova’s airspace with a missile.”
“These actions clearly violate international law Moldova condemns these actions and stands in full solidarity with Ukraine,” he said.
We remind you that on December 25, the Russians launched a massive attack on Ukraine. The air defense forces destroyed 55 cruise missiles, four guided aircraft missiles and 54 drones out of 184 air targets launched by the Russian Federation.
As a result of the attack, energy facilities were damaged, and blackout schedules were introduced until the end of the day.
