Ukraine is interested in expanding cooperation with the JEF and full membership in the organization, the president said.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had an important telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The Ukrainian leader announced this on Telegram on Monday, December 23.
“Today we discussed the continuation of our cooperation. Among the main topics are support for the production of Ukrainian weapons, training of the Ukrainian military, sanctions against the Russian shadow tanker fleet and the JEF summit (multinational expeditionary force -). edit.) in Estonia,” Zelensky wrote.
He noted that Ukraine is interested in expanding cooperation with the JEF and full membership in the organization.
The leaders also discussed the agreement on a 100-year partnership between Ukraine and Britain, which preparations are underway.
“We appreciate the strong cooperation that exists between our states and all help in bringing a just peace and lasting security closer,” added the president.
Earlier it became known that Great Britain may expand the training mission for the Ukrainian military to include the territory of Ukraine.
