Throughout Ukraine, except for the north-west and Transcarpathia, fog is expected until the end of the day on December 23. Visibility will be 200-500 m – danger level I, yellow.
On the Left Bank there will also be fog at night and in the first half of the day on December 24. The State Emergency Service warns about this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
In such conditions, citizens are urged to:
- If possible, refrain from traveling by car;
- if traveling by car, reduce speed, turn on low beam headlights or fog lights;
- Pedestrians should be especially careful on the roads and wear reflective elements on clothing.
