Putin wants to meet with Trump to “resolve the issue of a full-scale war” by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Newly elected US President Donald Trump said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is looking forward to a “close” meeting with him. The 47th President-elect of the United States announced this at AmericaFest on Sunday, December 22.
Trump said Putin wanted a meeting to resolve the issue of a full-scale war by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
“Putin said he wants to meet with me as soon as possible. We’re looking forward to it, we must end this war,” Trump said.
He also added that he would prevent chaos in the Middle East and prevent World War III.
Let’s remember that in November the media reported about the alleged negotiations between Trump and Putin about the war in Ukraine. Later, the Kremlin denied this information.
Recently, Putin’s press secretary Peskov said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin still has no plans to negotiate with US President-elect Donald Trump.
In the past, the media reported that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin seriously underestimate each other, and this is fraught with great dangers for Ukraine.
