In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, as a result of an accident involving a minibus and a car, 13 people were injured, including a child.
The incident occurred today, December 22, on the Mukachevo-Lviv highway near the village, the press service of the State Emergency Service reports.
It is noted that two injured rescuers had to be released from the mutilated vehicle in order to be handed over to doctors.
The chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Regional Administration, Svetlana Onishchuk, reported on her Facebook page that 13 victims were taken to the Nadvirnyany central district hospital, where doctors are providing them with all the necessary assistance.
Measures are being taken to transport the injured child to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Hospital. Another passenger suffered a spinal injury. She is transported to OKL. Another victim has a pelvic fracture and intra-abdominal bleeding; he is now undergoing surgery. Other participants in the accident are being examined by doctors, she noted.
