Alexander Usyk, after a historic victory against Tyson Fury, raised the saber of Hetman Ivan Mazepa in the ring.

The unique 17th-century saber was delivered to Saudi Arabia under the strict control of museum specialists. This was the first time in boxing history that such an artifact was displayed directly in the ring.
On the night of December 22, Usik defeated Tyson Fury for the second time by decision and defended the title of the unified world heavyweight boxing champion. The judges preferred a unanimous decision to Usyk – all three 116:112. Alexander Usik’s first words after defeating Tyson Fury:
I won. Today is an important day for me – my sons also won their judo matches. They told me, “Dad, you’re next.” I answered them: “Okay,” said Usyk.
A boxer from Ukrainian Simferopol dedicated his second victory over Tyson Fury to his mother:
I want to dedicate this victory to my mom, who has been worried and nervous about me for many years. And to all the mothers of Ukraine,” said Usyk.
He dedicated his first victory over Fury to his father.
After the victory, Daniel Dubois, the IBF world champion, entered the ring. He challenged the Ukrainian. Usyk said that he is ready to fight next against Dubois. In the event of this fight, the title of absolute world champion will again be at stake.
