Fixed electricity prices have been established for residents of apartment buildings.
The Cabinet of Ministers has obliged energy companies to introduce preferential fixed tariffs for electricity for residents of apartment buildings that do not have gasification or heat supply, Taras Melnichuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, said on December 21.
We are talking about the inhabitants of the houses:
- not gasified with natural gas;
- do not have or have non-functioning centralized or autonomous heat supply systems operating on energy sources other than electrical energy.
This decision should ease the financial burden on residents of such houses.
According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 31, 2024 No. 632, from June 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 inclusive, a fixed price for electricity for household consumers was established in the amount of 4.32 UAH per kWh (including VAT).
