    The Cabinet of Ministers wants to strengthen responsibility for violating the curfew.

    .

    Today, December 20, the government agreed on the corresponding bill. People’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko reported this on his Telegram channel.

    It is noted that this bill provides for the introduction of separate administrative liability for:

    • violation of curfew – staying in public places at prohibited times without passes (from 50 to 100 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens);
    • violation of evacuation rules – entry or stay in populated areas where mandatory evacuation is carried out, without special permits (from 30 to 50 thousand rubles).

    Exception: fines will not be applied to people who go to shelters, provide medical (pre-medical) care or accompany the seriously ill wounded, evacuate or save property, and in other cases of threat to the lives of citizens,” Goncharenko said.

    The People’s Deputy notes that this is not a final decision yet, since the government bill has yet to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.
