Russia’s former president called The Times journalists “bastards” and “lousy jackals” for calling the slain RCBZ commander a legitimate military target.
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council and former President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that the management and journalists of the British newspaper The Times should be “careful” after publishing the killing of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov and his aide. He wrote about it on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the editorial staff can be considered “legitimate military targets” because they do not consider what happened as a crime and justify the actions of the Ukrainian special services.
In an editorial on Tuesday, The Times said the killing of Kirillov, who commanded the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense (RCBD) troops, in an explosion in Moscow was “a legitimate act of defending a threatened country. “
Medvedev noted that if we follow this logic, then the NATO officials who decided to provide weapons to Ukraine are “participating in a hybrid or conventional war against Russia,” and they can also be considered ” legitimate targets” of the Russian state.
At the same time, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council emphasized that the perpetrators always have accomplices who must have a similar status.
“This may also include the evil jackals from The Times, who cowardly hide behind the editorial, this is the full management of the publication,” he warned.
We remind you that the previous day in Moscow an electric scooter exploded on Ryazansky Avenue. Two people died – General Kirillov and his assistant.
Later, the media reported that the killing of Kirillov was a special operation of the SBU, but there was no official confirmation from the intelligence service.
At the same time, the previous day, the SBU announced the suspicion of Igor Kirillov for the massive use of prohibited chemical weapons against the Defense Forces in the east and south of Ukraine.
