In the first half of December, 105 Russian drones have already violated Belarusian airspace.
Since July 11, at least 356 drones of various types have flown over Belarus, of which 351 were Russian kamikaze drones of the Shahed type. The Belarusian Gayun monitoring project reported this on Telegram on Wednesday, December 18.
In the past five months, there have been ten cases of drones being shot down or downed in Belarus and Latvia, as well as one case of a building being destroyed as a result of a UAV crash.
It was noted that the number of cases of drones entering Belarus continues to grow: in July and August there were 9 and 12 of them, respectively, in September 30 drones were recorded, in October – 49, and in November and December – 151 and 105.
In addition, 163 drones were locally lost during the observation period.
We remind you that on the night of December 18, Russia used 81 drones against Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to destroy 51 of them.
