Employees of the Maritime Border Department of Gdansk, together with the Czech Customs Service, carried out a massive operation and seized 44 liters of liquid cocaine hidden in wine boxes. RMF24 reported this on Tuesday, December 17.

A container with drugs arrived in Europe from a Panamanian port. The transport has to go through one of the European ports, and then through a customs post in Ostrava to Poland.
As part of the special operation, three suspects were detained: two residents of Lublin Voivodeship, aged 41 and 47 years, as well as a 53-year-old man from Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. They were all charged with involvement in an organized criminal group and smuggling large amounts of drugs.
The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for three months.

It was previously reported that 3 tons of cocaine were found in Ecuador in boxes with bananas for Russia. The cargo is planned for delivery at the port of St. Petersburg.
