The attack units of the North Korean troops are supplemented by new personnel after the defeat in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Monday, December 16.
According to intelligence data, only on December 14 and 15 in the areas of the villages of Plekhovo, Vorozhba, Martynovka in the Kursk region, the DPRK army units suffered significant losses. We are talking about at least 30 soldiers killed and wounded.
Also in the area of the village of Kurilovka, at least three North Korean soldiers disappeared.
“Due to the losses, the attack groups are being supplemented by new personnel, including from the 94th separate brigade of the DPRK army, to continue active combat operations in the Kursk region,” said of the statement.
The previous day, fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed a video from the Kursk region, which allegedly showed the dead bodies of Russian and North Korean soldiers. In total, the footage shows 23 bodies of decapitated enemy soldiers.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate said that as of December 14, the estimated losses of units manned by Russian and North Korean personnel in the Kursk region were about 200 military personnel.
