New blackout schedules in Ukraine will go into effect starting tomorrow.
From December 16, Ukrenergo introduces unified schedules for the entire country. This means that the schedules will look and operate the same in all Ukrainian cities. The amount of time with light will increase. This was reported by DTEK.
It is noted that now between outages there will be at least 3.5 hours with electricity.
In Ukraine, each group was divided into two subgroups. Oblenergo will no longer turn off the entire group if it is not necessary; only half of the group will be turned off in order to accurately distribute the load on the power system.
As a result, more people will be with the light at the same time. But we must understand that if local accidents occur or the enemy damages transmission lines, the schedules for this region will change,” explained DTEK.
The general director of the electricity supplier YASNO, Sergei Kovalenko, informed on Facebook that the main temporary distribution of outages will not be an hour, but 30 minutes.
Cumulatively, this approach gives 56 hours of light per week for each queue, as opposed to 38 hours in previous versions of the schedules, he noted.
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Energy has approved new Instructions on the preparation and application of hourly power outage schedules. Equal principles for the application of schedules are provided in all areas.
